British Open
Current Champion Golfer - Darren Clarke
Many of our golf tours and corporate events are arranged in July each year so that the group can spend one or two days, or even the full week, at The Open, which attracts all the world’s finest golfers every year.
Planning ahead is the right strategy if you want to attend a British Open so that appropriate accommodations can be reserved for you, and the rest of your tour can be arranged round it particularly if you want play golf on a nearby course during the tournament. Applying for tee times at nearby courses at the right time is very important.
You will find that the hotels closest to the course – within 3 - 5 miles will usually have minimum packages of 5, 6 or even 7 nights duration, and they tend to be the most expensive deals. The early bookings will get the best choice of properties and the best deals as well.

There are also discounts offered to those who buy weekly tickets prior to the end of May as well.
Car park tickets can also be bought in advance at discount. These car parks are usually closer to the course than the car parks used for day visitors.
Accommodations
We can offer you: Hotels….guesthouses…. self-catering apartments & houses…
covering all styles and budgets.
Be aware that the closer you are to the course the more expensive it is. You and your group should consider if you are willing to travel each day and decide on an appropriate distance – up to 5 miles, 5 – 10 miles, 10 – 25 miles, more than 25 miles.
Groups
If you are travelling with a larger group then the general advise is to start planning early. Some accommodations books up years in advance so planning your trip 2 or 3 years in advance is often a good plan if you are in a group larger than 4 persons. We also offer monthly payment facilities so you can spread the cost of the trip over a longer period of time as well, and gain some savings as well by making payments when the exchange rates are in your favour.
